We have just had a lovely card from a parent, who is leaving us. The words were so touching; we wanted to share a snippet…

“The patience, sympathy, compassion and dedication showed by the staff is to be admired. My child was treated as an individual and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. As parents we are proud to say that our child came to St. Mary’s Nursery and are privileged to have been a part of your nursery. Keep up the good work. We will miss you”

We have a fresh new look, with new flooring just laid within all three play rooms, we hope that you will like it as much as we do J

Welcome back Karla...
Don't worry, the Inventors room will be left in very safe (and familiar to some) hands!!! Karla Smith Senior from St.Mary's @ Wensley Fold Nursery will be re-joining the St.Mary's team to take over from Fareha's Senior position. Welcome back Karla...  xx  Karla will be with us from Monday 01/09/14  : )

Goodbye & Good luck

Fareha is leaving us for pastures new! She has been successful in gaining a position to complete her teacher training... Fareha has been a valued member of the team for over 10 years now and although we will be very sad to see her go, we are happy to see her pursue her dream... and we wish her all the very best for the future - We will miss you Fareha!  CONGRATULATIONS   x x x

We have fun outdoors whatever the weather...

 

It is lovely to see the children having fun outdoors today (despite the weather) they are splashing in the puddles with their wellies on!! Lots of happy faces...

Yesterday the children took part in lots of fun activities based around the story 'Peppa's Big Race’. Children brought in bikes from home. They also read the story and they talked about the positive effect that exercise has on the body...
