Milk Bottles

Pre-school children are collecting 4 pint milk bottles for an activity planned for the Christmas period. (Making an igloo) If you have any at home, please could you bring them in.

All children in on this day will have their photograph taken –  there will be no obligation to buy . If your child is not in on this day then you are more than welcome to bring them in for their photograph from 10am…

Mud Pie Delights...

Mark Making...

To Encourage children to mark make, we have purchased little 'explorer' back packs to use in the outdoor area... these include character pens, pencils, clipboards, note books etc. We have Minion, Spiderman, and Frozen themed back packs to chose from...

They are definitely a hit!!! 

Constructing Schools...

This week the Inventors team have added photographs of the schools (that our children will be going to in September)  to the construction area... Look at what they created!!! They were actively involved and motivated for a considerable amount of time and they were paying attention to even the smallest detail. Little Stars... : ) 

The children were observed planning, making decisions about how to approach the task, solve any problems and reach the goal. 

Father's Week....

We Captured these shots of the babies today, they were willing to 'have a go' and they maintained focus on the activity for a period of time. If you would like to try this at home, we made the 'gloop' by mixing cornflour, water and food colouring..... : )

The Babies are showing a 'can do attitude' whilst creating pictures today. It is all about being proud of HOW they accomplished something - NOT just the end result....

A great big thank you to all the parents that decorated eggs with their children... we have had some wonderful creations...

Hot Cross Buns, Hot Cross Buns, One a Penny, Two a Penny Hot cross buns....

Our Fantastic Cook Dawn spends a day each month cooking with the children... Today she made delicious Hot Cross Buns with the Inventors.
