Dinosaur Swamp

The construction Tray was set up as a 'dinosaur swamp' using various malleable materials this was to encourage children to be in interested in others play and start to join in playing alongside others. During this activity children started talking about different textures. 

Let's get our heat racing

Chase is on the case this month getting the children's hearts racing, the Explorer's joined in with racing and chasing games outdoors.

Gruffalo

The children maneuvered the Gruffalo around the maze to find the way to the other characters. During this activity children spoke about the Gruffalo story.   

Look what we found...

We went searching for insects in our nursery garden today. Look at the ladybird we found. we spoke about the environment whilst the children showed care and concern for the ladybird. 

Mixing Portions...

The children took part mixing portions in the 'Wizards Workshop' children used various lotions to make their portions. Children were encouraged to follow instructions using number language 'put on drop of 'bat juice' and two 'spiders legs'.
