Fresh and Delicious...

It has recently been reported that due to the low rate paid by the government to early years providers  (for funded hours), nursery owners are making ends meet by providing low quality/ cheap food . Be assured this is not the case at St.Mary's. We are committed and continue to provide locally sourced, fresh, nutritious produce that is lovingly prepared by Dawn.

Eid Party

All children who are in on Thursday 6th June please wear party clothes. 
The children will enjoy an Eid meal at lunch time with all their friends and take part in some party games to celebrate Eid.

Eid Mubarak to everybody have a lovely Eid. 

Loose Parts

Loose parts is instrumental in the development of children, providing opportunities for children to experience a variety of objects where they can invent and discover to create a world of 'what if'.
Loose parts involves using man made and natural objects that provide endless opportunities to invent, construct, deconstruct, problem solve and experiment with no fixed outcome.
This type of play encourages imagination, fine and gross motor skills, co-ordination, self esteem, self confidence and can help a child to self regulate. Loose parts play is ideal for a child's progression through every area of the 'Early Years Foundation Stage'.
