Hairdressing Role Play...
A big thank you to everyone who has brought in resources for our role play area. The children seem to be really enjoying using the hairdressers and the team have made some wonderful observations.
Does it float?
Today the Explorers took part in a spontaneous activity to see which items float or sink. This was following on from a child that discovered that somethings float in the water tray. The children were amazed and were making predictions about which items they thought would float and which ones would sink.
You could continue this at home with items in the bath or in the paddling pool on a sunny day...
