More planned classroom sessions

response -
Thank you for your comment... For this age range we learn through play and have a more hands on learning experiences (using the EYFS)  all of which helps children to develop, and aids ' school readiness'. We create an environment which instills a love of learning and a 'can do attitude' . A lot of consideration goes into the activities provided for the children, we plan in the moment following children's interests and planning invitations to learning.  The team think very carefully about what their Intent is and the Impact is measured through observations and data collated from the children's profiles.
Please speak to a member of the team if you would like to discuss further and we will be more than happy to show you our teaching and learning processes. : )

More continuity with staff

response -
Thank you for your comment... we are not sure what this is with regards to, but please make yourself known and speak to us with regards to this. We have had members of the team leave for a variety of different reasons over the years- progression in career, returning to university, staying at home to care for children but we still have a very committed workforce which have been with us for a significant number of years. There is a post about the staffing structure on the blog further down and details number of years service at St Marys Nurseries for each team member this totals a whopping 138 years... This dedication helps us to be the nursery we are and ensures our high standards are maintained.  :)

Flexi days
response -
Thank you for your comment .... unfortunately this is not possible as the nursery has ratios to abide by, it is essential to plan ahead to ensure that each session is staffed appropriately. If parents require extra sessions, we may be accommodate such requests (subject to availability) just pop into the office to see how we can help :)

Online updates
response -
Thank you for your comment ...please bear with us, it is all new to us IT amatures- ha ha. In the meantime hard copies of the Learning journeys can be viewed at anytime.

Just a suggestion, perhaps when holding parties ie eid- maybe have 2 so all the children can participate
response -
Thank you for your comment... We will definitely look into doing this. We have so many children doing a variety sessions so even 2 days may not cover everyone but we will look into doing 'party weeks' for celebrations such as christmas and eid  :)
